Purpose of Sorlak :

1. As a moderator of children and youth organizations in Greenland.
2. Participate in public debate and in the solution of the problem areas for children and young people in Greenland.
3. Create awareness among the public authorities and in society on children and young people’s problems.
4. And create debate among children and young people’s own organizations.
5. Work for children and young people more influence in society.
6. Create coordination and understanding among the various children and youth organizations,
7. And manage the various initiatives and information on various measures of the individual organization
8. Coordinate obtained work in Greenland and from other countries, and work for improvements among Fællesrådets member organizations.
